Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide technical and product expertise to the sales team, prospective customers, and partners throughout the sales cycle.

• Develop and present demonstration solutions for VertiGIS Studio.

• Establish and maintain an enterprise-level demonstration environment featuring VertiGIS Studio and Esri technologies.

• Facilitate the resolution of technical and product challenges during the sales process.

• Collaborate with customers and partners to optimize the advantages of VertiGIS Studio technology.

• Convert prospective business requirements into architectural and design specifications that align with VertiGIS and Esri implementation strategies.

• Design and create proof-of-concept applications tailored to prospective customer needs.

• Assist in delivering presentations, training sessions, and workshops at marketing events.

• Work alongside sales and marketing teams to produce internal and external product solution marketing materials.

• Partner with the product team to identify and promote key capabilities.

• Acquire extensive technical knowledge of VertiGIS Studio products and their value proposition.

• Educate sales and partner personnel on the business benefits of VertiGIS Studio and GIS-enabled architecture and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar or related position.

• Experience or aptitude in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Presales within a software organization.

• Experience collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Professional Services.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.

• Experience in business analysis or solution architecture.

• Familiarity with geography, GIS, and Esri technology.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

• High level of precision and attention to detail.

• A diploma or degree in computer science, software engineering, geomatics, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.

• Development experience with VertiGIS Studio technology is a plus.

• Some travel may be necessary for this position.
