This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Manage the technical relationship of the Cisco brand with customers and partners.
• Deliver technical solutions that meet the business requirements of customers and partners.
• Collaborate with account teams and connected sales teams to develop customer strategies.
• Act as a reliable technical advisor for account teams and customers/partners.
• Enhance portfolio penetration through cross-selling, upselling, and competitive displacement.
• Lead discussions with IT decision-makers, business decision-makers, and various business lines.
• Convert customer and partner business needs into technical specifications.
• Navigate opportunities through the technical sales cycle.
• Design and deliver relevant technical solutions.
• Oversee virtual support teams comprised of sales resources.
• Contribute to account planning, demand generation, and enablement initiatives.
• Establish relationships with both technical and business decision-makers.
• Recognize customer challenges and customize solutions accordingly.
• Formulate strategic customer plans and spearhead solution design.
• Transform requirements into solutions across the Cisco portfolio.
• Analyze data, create content, and provide updates on campaign status.
• Utilize demonstrations to help customers envision real-world results.
• Keep an eye on competitive landscapes to effectively position Cisco’s value and secure business.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration among internal teams and external partners.
• Lead educational initiatives on Cisco solutions and their value.
• Adjust priorities in a complex and rapidly changing sales environment.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD with no prior experience.
• Profound knowledge of Cisco’s portfolio, including specialized and architectural aspects.
• Expertise in one or several domains within the Cisco portfolio.
• Capability to translate business needs from customers and partners into technical requirements and solutions.
• Ability to design and present solutions based on both technical and business criteria.
• Proficiency in leading technical sales processes and engaging with customers.
• Capacity to assess competitive landscapes and market strategies.
• Skill in developing strategic customer plans and insights for account planning.
• Proficient in using demonstrations to convey the outcomes of Cisco solutions.
• Strong collaborative skills with account teams, sales teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
