Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the expanding sales team to pinpoint merchant challenges.

• Advise merchants on the advantages of Primer and how it resolves their issues.

• Offer technical insights to the sales team to support business development efforts.

• Convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Simplify complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.

• Facilitate client interactions through discovery sessions, solution design workshops, product demonstrations, and developer Q&As.

• Partner with the Product team to uncover feature improvements and new offerings based on market insights.

• Serve as a technical consultant to merchants, assisting in shaping their technical strategy.

• Ensure that integrations are both robust and scalable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a merchant-facing role with a complex API product, preferably in the payments sector.

• Confidence in leading discovery sessions and collaborating with technical teams at major merchants.

• Strong interest or knowledge in technology.

• Capability to comprehend, articulate, and design intricate technical specifications.

• Creative and improvisational skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Skill in interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A collaborative mindset when engaging with clients, partners, Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.

• High levels of drive and motivation.

• Proven ability to execute tasks effectively and make a significant impact.

• Experience in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
