Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Facilitate in-depth discovery sessions with prospective technical teams, Enterprise Architects, and CTOs.

• Analyze customer commerce architectures, challenges, and needs.

• Create customized, composable solution blueprints that integrate Emporix software with existing customer technology ecosystems.

• Recognize discrepancies between prospect needs and standard product functionalities.

• Collaborate with Product Management to devise workarounds, extensions, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.

• Develop lightweight integrations and custom proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Construct, tailor, and present product demonstrations and live showcases for senior enterprise stakeholders.

• Design customized demo environments utilizing AI capabilities.

• Convert complex architecture and AI implementation into tangible business value.

• Create demo experiences leveraging front-end components, APIs, and AI prompt workflows.

• Oversee the technical execution of RFI and RFP processes for enterprise clients.

• Write technical solution concepts and proposal documentation.

• Work alongside the Go-To-Market team to strategize and execute deals.

• Serve as the technical advocate for the customer within Product and Engineering teams.

• Evaluate technical feasibility and influence software development roadmaps.

• Lead technical sales initiatives across the DACH region and beyond.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native German speaker.

• Excellent business-fluent English skills, both written and verbal.

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting within B2B enterprise SaaS settings.

• In-depth knowledge of commerce and an AI-native mindset.

• Familiarity with machine learning, LLMs, and intelligent automation.

• Proficient in microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

• Basic scripting and front-end framework skills, such as React.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Digital Commerce / E-Commerce is advantageous.

• Experience with BPMN, workflow engines, or process automation tools is a plus.

• Practical experience with AI agent frameworks or prompt engineering in sales engineering workflows is an asset.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel for customer and partner meetings, industry events, and internal team syncs.

• Capability to work independently and think pragmatically in dynamic customer interactions.
