πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Become an expert in Doodle Labs radios, including their firmware, configuration tools, and deployment architectures.

β€’ Assist with customer integrations, platform testing, field evaluations, and troubleshooting tasks.

β€’ Conduct tests on newly developed hardware and software based on customer use cases, which encompass connected teams, UAVs, and unmanned systems.

β€’ Create repeatable validation workflows for firmware updates, new features, and various customer deployment scenarios.

β€’ Evaluate wireless link performance, networking behavior, throughput, interference, mobility, and routing under actual conditions.

β€’ Develop and maintain software utilities, scripts, and troubleshooting tools that enable customers to configure and integrate radios effectively.

β€’ Simulate customer deployment conditions in laboratory settings to validate configurations and replicate issues encountered.

β€’ Update and enhance customer-facing technical documentation, including articles, datasheets, configuration guides, and user manuals.

β€’ Collaborate with engineering and firmware teams to provide structured product feedback based on insights gained from customer field experiences.

β€’ Prepare technical reports that summarize findings, deployment recommendations, risks, and known issues.

β€’ Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor for high-value customers, supporting teams during critical deployments and evaluations.

β€’ Promote customer deployment success across unmanned systems and wireless networking integrations.

β€’ Work closely alongside robotics engineers, autonomy teams, field operators, firmware engineers, and customer program teams.

β€’ Contribute to customer deployment success, technical validation workflows, and enhancements driven by field experiences.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless communications, RF networking, embedded systems, or robotic platform integration.

β€’ Strong grasp of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and troubleshooting techniques.

β€’ Proficient in working within Linux environments and managing embedded or networking systems.

β€’ Understanding of wireless principles such as RF propagation, antennas, link budgets, and Wi-Fi systems.

β€’ Experience in developing software utilities, scripts, or automation tools to facilitate technical workflows.

β€’ Adept at diagnosing complex system interactions among RF, networking, computing, and control systems.

β€’ Comfortable engaging directly with customers in collaborative, high-stakes field situations.

β€’ Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical complexities into actionable insights.

β€’ Curious, self-motivated, and driven by the challenge of solving real-world engineering problems.

β€’ Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

β€’ Experience with drones, robotics, autonomy systems, or defense technologies is beneficial.

β€’ Background in supporting field deployments, flight testing, or integrating robotic platforms.

β€’ Familiarity with wireless mesh networking and communication architectures for unmanned systems.

β€’ Experience in developing customer-centric technical documentation and deployment guides.

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field is preferred.
