Senior Solutions Architect – Engagement Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee account coordination from initial planning through implementation, support transition, and ensure day-2 preparedness, while clarifying priorities, responsibilities, and next steps.

• Develop succinct updates featuring a RAG view, executive summary, delivery progress, key risks, outstanding actions, and plans to achieve green status.

• Accelerate the resolution of P0/P1 obstacles and significant customer, delivery, commercial, or operational risks with actionable recommendations.

• Coordinate scope and commercial agreements with Sales and Solution Architecture, encompassing support packages, software licensing, and professional services expectations.

• Deliver clear technical directives for essential customer requirements.

• Facilitate connections among technical teams, customer leaders, and NVIDIA decision-makers throughout intricate NVIS engagements.

• Collaborate with project delivery managers, Solution Architects, Sales, OEM/SI partners, Operations, NVIDIA customer support, and NVIS leadership.

• Ensure daily project execution aligns with the project delivery manager while retaining strategic oversight and operational insight.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing coordination, leadership in engagements, technical delivery, accelerated computing systems, large-scale infrastructure, or enterprise cloud initiatives, including interaction with executive customer stakeholders.

• Proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams within matrixed organizations and ensuring accountability for commitments.

• Proficient in crafting structured executive updates that include RAG view, risk register, action tracker, delivery plan, and VP-level summary.

• Strong expertise in risk, issue, change, and blocker resolution practices, balancing strategic oversight and operational insight without managing daily execution.

• Exceptional communication, partner management, and influencing abilities, along with technical knowledge in data center systems, AI platforms, networking, compute, storage, or cloud-scale initiatives.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% and support occasional weekend work when necessary for critical customer deployments, site events, or urgent issue resolution.

• Extensive familiarity with AI platforms, large-scale GPU clusters, HPC systems, networking, storage, or DevOps/MLOps methodologies.

• Experience with HPC deployment lifecycles, rack integration, network setup, GPU validation, facility readiness, or liquid cooling commissioning.

• Proven ability to resolve complex customer challenges in high-pressure, multi-team settings.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI; tools including SFDC, Wrike, SAP, Microsoft 365, Teams, or SharePoint; or certification in a relevant technical or project domain.
