Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable technical consultant for customers and partners

• Manage the technical relationship and shape technology choices

• Craft, showcase, and implement customized technical solutions

• Spearhead interactions with IT decision-makers and business units

• Convert customer needs into actionable technical specifications

• Oversee virtual support teams and utilize internal resources to facilitate deals through the sales process

• Recognize opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling

• Displace competitors and enhance Cisco’s market presence

• Uphold sales process standards, including funnel management, strategic account planning, and accuracy of CRM data

• Deliver data-driven insights to Business Entities and sales teams regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR a PhD with no prior experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in designing technical solutions

• Capability to align Cisco technology with customer-specific business needs

• Proven experience in managing intricate sales cycles and driving deal closures in a high-growth setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of Networking, Security, Observability, or Collaboration architectures

• A history of expanding presence within existing accounts

• Proficient in conveying technical concepts to executive-level stakeholders and technical decision-makers

• Skilled in analyzing market trends and competitive scenarios

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and overseeing virtual support resources

• Ability to assist in demand generation initiatives, create enablement materials, and foster internal knowledge sharing

• Capacity to swiftly adapt technical sales processes to unforeseen market or customer shifts

• Advanced expertise in consultative selling techniques
