Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create new features based on user requirements.

• Address bugs and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Utilize JavaScript (Angular), HTML, and CSS to develop or improve functionalities.

• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.

• Work collaboratively with developers using JIRA and Git.

• Stay informed about the team’s build system and deployment pipeline.

• Take ownership of features from design through to implementation.

• Make technology-related decisions while maintaining design and code documentation.

• Identify and resolve persistent root causes that impact customers and the team.

• Participate in on-call rotations and handle operational challenges.

• Collaborate with CloudOps, DevOps, Product, Design, and other stakeholders.

• Represent the team during interactions with external parties and other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development.

• Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and essential web development principles, frameworks, and patterns.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.

• Proficiency in network and browser debugging tools, including Chrome DevTools, Postman, and Fiddler.

• Demonstrated experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams that are geographically distributed.

• Strong skills in communication, time management, interpersonal relations, and team-building.

• Successful completion of a background check for candidates receiving an offer.
