This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Perform site assessments to analyze client IT and physical settings against established prerequisites.
• Oversee both on-site and remote installations, ensuring device network connectivity, configuration, and operational commissioning of Avery Dennison's digital solutions and hardware.
• Evaluate customer ERP, WMS, and MES software architectures.
• Create data exchange interfaces, API integrations, VPNs, firewalls, network layouts, and remote access configurations.
• Collaborate with the product team to develop integration software components as needed.
• Assist with the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of RFID printers, undermount readers, tunnels, HDRC, and associated hardware.
• Ensure adherence to GS1 standards, including GTIN and SGTIN/EPC, as well as EPCIS business processes where applicable.
• Work alongside Delivery Managers and Product Owners to define deployment timelines, scoping documents, and technical access requirements.
• Act as the primary technical resource during hypercare phases.
• Address site issues, log defect tickets, contribute to SOPs and playbooks, provide end-user training, and facilitate the transition of operations to support teams.
• Solid background in general IT, network security, and cloud-based software environments.
• Experience in API design, software development (e.g., C# / .NET Core / Python), and hardware integration.
• Essential experience in technical consulting, customer-facing delivery, or solutions engineering within global, multicultural enterprise settings.
• Understanding of GS1 standards, RFID infrastructure, and agile software development processes.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for daily tasks, data transformation, and analysis.
• Strong technical problem-solving ability under live go-live pressure.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25%–30% for customer site assessments, commissioning, and go-live activities.
• Successful completion of a thorough background check and drug screening required post-offer.
