Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Development to craft solution strategies and foster relationships that drive business growth.

• Link transit agency requirements with Masabi’s fare payment platform.

• Develop solutions that showcase the benefits of Masabi’s open platform.

• Establish connections with technical stakeholders early in the sales process.

• Conduct product demonstrations.

• Assist in the preparation of bids and RFP responses.

• Identify product deficiencies and collaborate with Product and Engineering to incorporate them into the roadmap.

• Convert agreed-upon solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation.

• Facilitate the transition into Delivery.

• Organize pre- and post-sale discovery workshops.

• Ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding solution design from RFP response through to detailed design.

• Aid Product, Engineering, and PMO in understanding implementation requirements.

• Relay agency insights to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-oriented role.

• Knowledge of APIs, data models, and integration processes.

• Experience in contributing to RFPs, Statements of Work, or structured procurement responses.

• Capacity to guide stakeholders through intricate topics and achieve practical solutions.

• Experience working with enterprise or public-sector clients in complex settings such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech.

• Ability to balance commercial, technical, and delivery factors when developing solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor explanations to diverse audiences.

• Competency in collaborating across teams and managing incomplete information.

• Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments is advantageous.

• Experience with partner integrations involving third-party hardware or SaaS platforms is a plus.

• Background in another regulated, tender-led sector is beneficial.

• Experience enhancing documentation, diagrams, or training materials for partners and new hires is a plus.

• Candidates must reside in Canada and possess the right to work there.

• Professional experience with AI tools is not mandatory, though a willingness to explore and understand their application is desired.
