Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Managers and other Solution Consultants to assist prospects and clients in assessing and planning the implementation of Caseware products.

• Conduct presentations, trials, and pilots, showcasing solution expertise and best practices.

• Coordinate with technical or product subject-matter experts as necessary.

• Develop strategies with clients regarding migration and implementation processes from current accounting and audit tools.

• Work alongside customers and Professional Services to define direction and address key requirements.

• Provide support for customer evaluations and implementations by offering insights on tools, processes, and resources.

• Ensure that timelines and tasks are kept on track.

• Create and manage product demonstration strategies, use cases, and value-driven materials.

• Serve as a liaison between customers and Product teams by converting customer feedback into actionable product insights.

• Attend conferences and events to maintain customer relationships and stay updated on industry standards and trends.

• Engage in speaking opportunities and contribute to thought leadership events or publications.

• Design and implement processes and systems that support consistent, scalable services.

• Assist with internal improvement initiatives that foster future growth.

• Act as a trusted advisor to accounting firms and organizations navigating technology modernization.

• Collaborate with account management, training, professional services, support, and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in preparing financial statements and/or conducting Audit, Assurance, Review, or Compilation engagements, OR at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role within a SaaS company serving the Accounting Profession.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret the needs of stakeholders.

• A solid understanding of, or strong interest in, AI-powered accounting solutions.

• Capability to discuss the application of AI in modern accounting, audit, and advisory workflows.

• Strong organizational skills with experience in tracking and managing multiple deliverables and tasks.

• Resourceful self-starter with proactive initiative and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of technology within the audit and accountancy sector, or a desire to learn.

• Direct experience using CaseWare to create financial statements or conduct engagements is preferred.

• CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent, with 3+ years of Audit or Accounting experience is preferred.

• Experience in leading technology adoption, training, methodologies, or innovation efforts within an accounting firm is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience or qualifications in project, product, or program management is preferred.

• Practical experience using AI tools, including those for software development, is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of accounting, financial processes, and technologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and tools for sales and lead management is preferred.

• Experience in Product, Product Marketing, Sales, or working closely with those functional teams is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce, is preferred.

• Experience in documenting internal processes and identifying or implementing efficiency or quality improvements is preferred.

• Must reside in and be eligible to work in Canada.

• Availability to accommodate meetings across Eastern Time to Pacific Time business hours, with prior notice.
