Solutions Architect, OpenText xECM for SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement OpenText Extended ECM solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• Create unified views that connect structured SAP data with unstructured content.

• Develop tailored OpenText ECM workspaces for procurement, employee records, and asset lifecycle management.

• Integrate OpenText Extended ECM with SAP utilizing SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, APIs, and middleware.

• Design and execute strategies for SAP data and document archiving.

• Collaborate with SAP teams across finance, HR, procurement, and engineering functions.

• Oversee the unstructured content lifecycle, including metadata management, classification, governance, and compliance with records management standards.

• Implement automated workflows for processes such as invoice management, HR onboarding, and engineering document control.

• Lead deployments in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, including integrations with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Align ECM solutions with SAP RISE and GROW initiatives.

• Create custom solutions and automate workflows using Java, JavaScript, or ABAP.

• Implement AI-driven features like OpenText Content Aviator and SAP Joule.

• Direct blueprinting, architecture, installation, configuration, and testing for SAP projects.

• Utilize OpenText Fastrack or similar methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with exceptional quality.

• Manage migrations of legacy ECM data and ensure compatibility with SAP updates.

• Lead and mentor implementation teams while collaborating with Professional Services, SAP Basis, developers, and business analysts.

• Engage with business stakeholders to assess content management requirements and enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, SAP integrations, or related areas, with practical experience in implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP solutions.

• Extensive experience with OpenText Extended ECM and its integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• Strong understanding of SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, and strategies for data/document archiving.

• Proficient in best practices for content management, metadata management, and compliance standards.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript, or ABAP, or experience with low-code/no-code configurations within OpenText tools.

• Ability to design ECM solutions that align SAP business processes with content management needs.

• Expertise in SAP FI, PM, PS, and MM business processes.

• In-depth knowledge of OpenText Fastrack or comparable implementation frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, analytical, leadership, mentoring, and adaptability skills.

• OpenText and SAP certifications are highly preferred.
