Solutions Architect, NCP Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor by comprehending intricate or extensive customer workloads and aligning them with NVIDIA technology designs to achieve approved scale-out solutions.

• Collaborate on the design of sophisticated, scalable architectures with partners, OEMs, and Neo Clouds.

• Establish technical direction, integration milestones, and deployment strategies.

• Coordinate with NVIDIA Services and post-sales teams to provide deployment support and promote operational excellence.

• Design, validate, and assist in solutions that encompass deep technical subjects.

• Recognize discrepancies between customer or partner requirements and NVIDIA offerings, informing internal product and engineering priorities.

• Lead technical interactions, resolve complex issues, and advocate for the technical needs of customers.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and product teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing enhancements.

• Develop, enhance, and document standard practices and operational guidelines for internal teams.

• Produce documentation such as runbooks, onboarding resources, and best-practice guides for both customers and internal teams.

• Act as the technical leader for designated customer accounts, offering strategic advice on NVIDIA DSX and platform architecture.

• Influence regional infrastructure and operational decisions in collaboration with NVIDIA headquarters teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in the industry covering software/hardware engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management.

• More than 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in designing and implementing scale-out solutions at a data-center level.

• Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from engineers to C-level executives.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and a dedication to facilitating customer success.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with hardware and software at scale, including HPC and AI technologies, CPUs, GPUs, high-speed interconnects, storage, and associated software stacks.

• Excellent solution architecture and customer engagement/pre-sales abilities.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA Neo Clouds, scale-out GPU deployments, or NVIDIA-specific architectures.

• Practical knowledge of data-center-level networking design for computing architectures.

• Experience with large-scale computing, cluster computing, data-center design, high-speed interconnects using Spectrum/InfiniBand, cluster storage, and design or management related to scheduling.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and automation.

• Experience with RDMA-based fabrics, including InfiniBand or RoCE, within HPC or AI environments.
