Solutions Architect – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to grasp their needs and provide guidance on suitable solution architectures.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure that client requirements and solution design are in sync.

• Work closely with Delivery Managers to supervise the architectural approach during the deployment of solutions.

• Investigate possibilities and innovative alternatives to discover effective solutions.

• Ensure that the solutions designed are executed in line with client expectations and organizational standards.

• Aid in identifying, specifying, and selecting off-the-shelf components to fulfill client demands.

• Offer continuous support and guidance to clients throughout the implementation process.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery within the insurance sector, with exposure to various lines of business.

• Proven experience in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise setting.

• Capability to assist in defining and promoting a product/enterprise roadmap.

• Ability to convert client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.

• Familiarity with business architecture models and patterns.

• Experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions to address business challenges.

• Knowledge of cloud-based applications that provide high availability and scalability.

• Experience in designing solutions for both relational database and NoSQL environments.

• Proficient in designing API- and microservices-centric architectures.

• Capacity to self-learn new technology trends and methodologies.

• Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and gather business requirements from corporate clients.

• Proficient in building value propositions, solution documents, and, when necessary, business cases for corporate clients.

• Experience in managing relationships with corporate clients.

• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

• Excellent decision-making and judgment skills.

• Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business.

• Proactive planning and organized work approaches.

• High proficiency in English as the primary working language.

• Architecture certification such as TOGAF or Zachman is a plus.

• Cloud certification is a plus.

• Experience or familiarity with low-code platforms is ideally preferred.

• Experience with multiple development languages and various database engines is beneficial.
