This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Design solutions for data integration, processing, reporting, and analytics.
• Implement strategies for warehouse deployment, data acquisition and accessibility, as well as data archiving and recovery.
• Collaborate with the Data Strategy Architect to develop capabilities and roadmaps for the data platform.
• Analyze overarching requirements and produce workflow charts, diagrams, specifications, process models, organizational models, and use cases.
• Plan, develop, and engage in the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions.
• Document and incorporate architectural guidelines, standards, and common services.
• Recommend data sources, platforms, and tools in alignment with data strategy, quality standards, and integration requirements.
• Offer technical guidance for data and analytics products and platforms.
• Provide expertise in information architecture.
• Establish and enforce data architecture standards in collaboration with Business, Application, and Operations teams.
• Maintain documentation that maps data models to information systems and business applications.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Enterprise, and Information Architecture teams on initiatives for enterprise data modernization.
• Define architecture for data ingestion, integration, storage, analytics, reporting, security, governance, and operational support.
• Coordinate intake, discovery, requirements clarification, and stakeholder alignment among business, product, engineering, and platform teams.
• Translate business outcomes into actionable data and analytics solutions.
• Manage the data dictionary.
• Aid in constructing enterprise architecture information blueprints and data models.
• Participate in discussions regarding data architecture, data sourcing, data flow, solutions, and enterprise information architecture.
• Collaborate on data-related business requirements and conduct data architecture reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience gained through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill.
• Experience in Solution Architecture.
• Background in Data Pipeline Integration and Data Governance.
• Familiarity with Data Catalog, Metadata, and Data Lineage.
• Proficiency with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, including tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Experience with OLAP solutions, including Snowflake, Teradata, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Cloud Services, specifically AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence tools like Power BI.
• Familiarity with OLTP databases, including MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres.
• Application Development knowledge, including proficiency in Python or C#.
• Ability to identify basic issues and procedural irregularities, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
