This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as a reliable technical advisor for prospects, customers, and partners throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with the Territory Manager to formulate account strategies, advance opportunities, and eliminate technical obstacles to purchase.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions focusing on infrastructure, workloads, operating models, commercial priorities, and decision-making criteria.
• Create and showcase solution architectures utilizing Virtuozzo’s cloud infrastructure platform.
• Convert customer needs into technical solutions and articulate their operational and commercial benefits.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, trials, and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Interact with stakeholders ranging from infrastructure engineers and architects to CTOs and business leaders.
• Address requests for information (RFIs), proposals (RFPs), and quotations (RFQs).
• Respond to technical inquiries about architecture, deployment, integration, performance, security, scalability, and migration.
• Work in conjunction with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services to validate solutions and relay customer requirements.
• Provide feedback from customers and the market for product positioning and roadmap discussions.
• Assist in transitioning successful opportunities to implementation, onboarding, and customer support teams.
• Contribute to the development of technical sales documentation, reference architectures, competitive materials, and internal training resources.
• Stay informed about Virtuozzo products, competitors, and pertinent cloud infrastructure technologies.
• Extensive experience in sales engineering, pre-sales consulting, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record in supporting complex B2B software or infrastructure sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, Linux, or related technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern infrastructure architectures, deployment models, configuration, integration, and performance factors.
• Experience in leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops, trials, or proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Ability to convert business and operational needs into credible technical solutions and articulate complex technology in straightforward commercial terms.
• Excellent consulting, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical experts and senior decision-makers.
• Customer-centric and commercially savvy, with the ability to influence intricate buying decisions.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining close collaboration with the Territory Manager and broader sales team.
• Proficient in English.
• Professional proficiency in French or German is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner interactions, industry events, and internal meetings as necessary.
• Experience with cloud service providers, managed service providers, hosting firms, telecommunications companies, or infrastructure software vendors is beneficial.
• Familiarity with private, hybrid, sovereign, or multi-tenant cloud environments is an asset.
• Knowledge of KVM, VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, software-defined storage, and infrastructure automation is advantageous.
• Experience in a channel, partner-led, or service-provider go-to-market strategy is an advantage.
• Background in customer onboarding or coordinating technical projects is beneficial.
• A fully remote B2B role based in the United Kingdom.
