Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Work in collaboration with sales representatives to evaluate the technical feasibility and compatibility of prospective projects.

• Serve as a trusted advisor by comprehending client business goals, technical limitations, and use cases.

• Develop customized, scalable, and secure computer vision solutions across various hardware, software, and edge deployment scenarios.

• Keep an extensive understanding of Roboflow’s computer vision platform, deployment strategies, and customization possibilities.

• Offer expertise on edge deployments, data management, model inference, and integration with client infrastructures.

• Conduct technical demonstrations and proofs of concept.

• Set up demo environments and resolve technical challenges.

• Act as the main technical liaison for architecture, APIs, security, scalability, and deployment conversations.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and pinpoint areas for product enhancement.

• Work closely with the co-founder/CEO and Sales leadership to define the Solutions Architect role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or a related field, ideally within a computer vision, AI, or IoT-focused organization.

• Industry experience directly in or collaborating with one or more targeted markets, such as manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, or retail.

• Proficiency in designing edge-based solutions with a solid understanding of edge computing limitations and challenges.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong understanding of computer vision, machine learning, and related technologies.

• Experience with cloud and edge infrastructure, particularly with AWS, Azure IoT, or other edge platforms.

• Competence in scripting or programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.

• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.

• Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
