Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical leader for a TTB program, functioning as both a technical product manager and engineering leader.

• Offer strategic technology guidance to clients by comprehensively understanding mission objectives.

• Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive solutions while ensuring component integration.

• Work with technologies such as React, Java Spring Boot, Python, web applications, and data analytics.

• Guide the development of cloud-native architectures utilizing Kubernetes, EKS, Aurora, and various AWS/cloud services.

• Provide technical leadership to senior technical and business stakeholders of the client.

• Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices while aligning with them.

• Foster innovation in client processes, public service delivery, and technical solutions.

• Identify risks and assumptions, guiding research and proof-of-concept experimentation.

• Support modern delivery practices and contribute to the professional growth of development team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering (or a related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in technical leadership and/or solution architecture for large, multi-team products.

• Experience with cloud-native architectures.

• Familiarity with serverless event-based systems.

• Proficiency with open-source technology stacks.

• Experience working with containers.

• Knowledge of pipeline automation.

• Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles and practices.

• Familiarity with object-oriented design concepts.

• Understanding of functional programming.

• Knowledge of design patterns.

• Familiarity with modern API design.

• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design.

• Experience in defining and enforcing application and cloud data security throughout the lifecycle.

• Experience in researching emerging technologies, processes, and best practices.
