Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive Data & Analytics architectures that align with the business goals and technology strategies of clients.

• Facilitate solution discovery workshops and architecture discussions with client representatives.

• Convert business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.

• Design contemporary cloud-based data platforms, analytical ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.

• Create architecture blueprints that encompass data ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, security, analytics, and reporting.

• Provide guidance to clients on best practices, emerging technologies, and architectural decisions.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Consultants, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Offer technical leadership and direction to delivery teams during the implementation phases.

• Tackle complex technical issues and maintain architectural consistency.

• Establish and promote standards, best practices, reusable assets, and reference architectures.

• Design and recommend lakehouse, data mesh, and cloud-native architectural patterns.

• Engage in presales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and the creation of technical proposals.

• Assist with RFI and RFP submissions through architecture design, technical recommendations, and delivery strategies.

• Present proposed solutions to both technical and business audiences, including executive stakeholders.

• Contribute to capability development, mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and growth of the Competency Center.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related consulting roles.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platform solutions.

• Hands-on expertise with a minimum of two Data & Analytics platforms, including Databricks.

• Possession of a Databricks Professional Certification.

• Strong experience in designing modern cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems.

• Excellent comprehension of data architecture, data integration, data modeling, and governance principles.

• Experience in designing lakehouse architectures and scalable data processing solutions.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, and associated technologies.

• Knowledge of data transformation frameworks like dbt or similar ELT tools.

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong client-facing skills and capability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills.

• Preferred/additional qualifications include Databricks Architect Champion designation, cloud architect certification, knowledge of Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, data governance, metadata management, data quality frameworks, data mesh, GenAI, machine learning, AI solution design, presales, and Agile delivery experience.
