Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main liaison between legal/regulatory findings and the Core Network team, converting regional mandates into actionable functional requirements.

• Facilitate requirement discovery workshops with local MNOs, regulators, and internal teams.

• Analyze regulatory requirements alongside platform capabilities to identify enhancements, trade-offs, and phased delivery options.

• Develop technical workflows and flowcharts for regulatory services such as MNP and Lawful Interception.

• Establish business rules and data exchange requirements for MNP, voice/SMS routing, edge cases, and exception handling.

• Specify data points and reporting frequencies needed by local authorities.

• Oversee acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign-off requirements for country-specific regulatory deliveries.

• Administer technical-regulatory checklists across multiple countries and escalate risks as necessary.

• Collaborate with central databases and external partners on interworking specifications and integration milestones.

• Guide Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams on user stories, functional specifications, and traceability.

• Provide functional leadership to development teams and assist with solution design decisions.

• Drive localized adaptation and system integration of Airalo’s Global MVNO Core, which includes HSS, DRA, and PGW platforms.

• Integrate standardized engineering sprints with the requirements of local MNOs, regulators, and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, ideally in Telecom or Tech.

• Capability to distill complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.

• Technical knowledge of SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases.

• Proficient in writing User Stories and Functional Specifications, as well as managing Jira tickets.

• Experience or significant interest in international roaming, interconnectivity, and global telecom markets.

• Ability to produce structured technical documentation and process flowcharts.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.

• Capacity to act as a liaison between legal, product, and engineering teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Prior experience in MVNO or Mobile Core is a plus.

• Familiarity with GSMA standards and eSIM technology is advantageous.

• Understanding of Lawful Interception and regional compliance reporting is a plus.
