This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the solution architecture and establish the long-term technical vision for Certinia encompassing PSA, Services Estimator, Revenue Management, and related Salesforce functionalities.
• Spearhead the architectural design and deployment of scalable Certinia solutions that facilitate professional services delivery, resource management, services quoting, project financials, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Provide guidance to business and technology leadership regarding platform strategy, investment choices, roadmap priorities, and architectural benchmarks.
• Transform intricate business requirements into scalable Certinia designs.
• Establish and uphold standards for data models, security, permissions, automation, reporting, integrations, and release management.
• Design and oversee integrations among Certinia, Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft, and other enterprise applications.
• Assess the downstream impacts of proposed modifications on Salesforce, Certinia, financial processes, reporting, data quality, security, and interconnected applications.
• Mentor administrators, developers, business analysts, and delivery partners.
• Evaluate solution designs, configurations, automation, data models, integrations, and technical documentation.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, design workshops, solution assessments, effort sizing, and architecture evaluations.
• Establish reusable patterns and reference architectures.
• Analyze existing capabilities and work to minimize technical debt.
• Assist with data migration, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation strategies.
• Offer technical guidance for testing, deployment, release readiness, production cutover, and post-release validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify trade-offs, document decisions, manage expectations, and ensure alignment.
• Create architecture artifacts, including solution designs, data models, integration diagrams, decision records, standards, and operational documentation.
• Conduct training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Monitor platform health, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive enhancements.
• Act as the senior technical liaison for vendors, support cases, implementation partners, and roadmap discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise business applications, including a minimum of 3 years in an architecture, solution design, technical lead, or similar role.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Certinia, previously FinancialForce, in an enterprise setting.
• Extensive practical knowledge of Certinia PSA, including project structures, resource management, assignments, timecards, budgets, milestones, project financials, and associated operational processes.
• Strong expertise in Certinia Services Estimator, Revenue Management, Services CPQ, billing, project accounting, or revenue recognition.
• Capability to define Certinia solution architecture, covering data models, configuration strategy, security model, automation, reporting, integration design, and operational governance.
• Profound knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including data modeling, security, profiles, permission sets, flows, Lightning App Builder, schema development, APIs, and declarative automation.
• Experience in integrating Certinia and Salesforce with enterprise systems such as NetSuite, MuleSoft, or other financial, ERP, and middleware platforms.
• Proficiency in evaluating standard functionality, configuration, automation, custom development, third-party products, and integrations.
• Experience leading architectural discussions and conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in producing architecture documentation, solution designs, data models, integration specifications, and technical decision records.
• Familiarity with supporting data migration, testing strategies, deployment planning, change management, and release processes in Salesforce or Certinia environments.
