Power Solution Architect – Strategic Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise throughout national business development and proposal activities alongside Sales

• Analyze project specifications and guide estimation and design teams accordingly

• Assist in the preparation of RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation

• Create scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures

• Ensure that designs fulfill performance, reliability, and operational objectives

• Assess and choose components based on both technical and commercial considerations

• Suggest design optimizations and alternative approaches

• Collaborate with teams in electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering

• Enhance solutions based on input from customers and stakeholders

• Represent IEM at industry events while advocating for technical solutions

• Mentor teams and assist in training programs

• Shape technical and commercial strategies to distinguish IEM solutions

• Promote technology integration and digital transformation initiatives

• Report directly to the Power Solutions Architect Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master’s degree is preferred)

• Over 5 years of experience in power system architecture

• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEMs

• Proficient in UL, IEEE standards, and industry practices

• Background in data-center and colocation power-distribution, including high-availability distribution architectures

• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities

• Experience in power equipment sales or commercial partnerships

• Leadership in innovation and vendor engagement

• Open to applicants located anywhere across the United States
