Python Solutions Architect, GenAI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop clean, production-quality Python code for AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs.

• Implement and enhance RAG systems for practical applications.

• Design and create LLM-driven and agentic AI solutions that tackle genuine business challenges for clients.

• Take ownership of the technical trajectory of client projects from initial discovery to final delivery.

• Assist in presales activities, including discovery calls, technical proposals, project scoping, and client demonstrations.

• Lead architecture evaluations, produce technical design documentation, and contribute to the establishment of standards within the Python practice.

• Mentor fellow engineers, conduct code reviews, and disseminate knowledge throughout the team.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a full-stack mindset, comfortable working across AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure.

• Actively utilize AI tools in your daily routines (such as Claude Code, Copilot, or similar).

• Be proactive and self-motivated; responsible for outcomes from start to finish and able to identify issues before they arise.

• Proficient in English at B2+ level, comfortable collaborating with distributed, multicultural teams.

• Manage the technical relationship with clients; lead discovery sessions, break down ambiguous requirements into technical elements, present architectural solutions, and advocate for scope adjustments when necessary.

• Develop scoped, phased delivery plans that include clear deliverables, dependencies, and potential risks.

• Have experience in cost estimation and optimizing cloud architecture costs.

• Over 7 years of experience in building and maintaining production systems, beyond just demos and proofs of concept.

• Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and a proven track record of integrating AI/ML components into solutions.

• High proficiency in Python, including OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance enhancement.

• Skilled in building RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.

• Capable of making and justifying architectural trade-off decisions, such as microservices vs. monolith, synchronous vs. event-driven, and SQL vs. NoSQL.

• Strong testing practices, including pytest, mocking, and integration testing for AI systems.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience in developing production-grade LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.

• Experience with LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock).

• Background in building and optimizing RAG systems.

• Understanding of LLM evaluation techniques and quality assurance methods.

• Proven experience in deploying and maintaining AI/ML models in production settings.

• Practical experience with AWS services (such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR, or similar); GCP experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with React or Vue frameworks.

• Possession of AWS and Claude Code certifications.

• Experience with Streamlit or Gradio for AI prototyping.

• Knowledge of modern Python tools (like ruff, uv, pyproject.toml, pyright).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI).

• Experience with an additional programming language (such as Go, Node.js, or Rust).

• Background in front-end development.
