This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Act as a reliable technical advisor and strategic partner for telecommunications carriers and enterprise clients.
• Design and architect robust carrier-grade solutions encompassing messaging, voice, identity, and fraud prevention.
• Collaborate with customer technology teams, architects, and senior leadership to pinpoint business opportunities, enhance solution adoption, and foster revenue growth.
• Gather Voice of Customer insights and convert requirements into product enhancements, solution designs, and strategic roadmap recommendations.
• Work alongside Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Account Management from initial concept through deployment.
• Facilitate technical discussions, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and presentations aimed at customers.
• Contribute to responses for RFIs/RFPs, solution proposals, business cases, white papers, and technical documentation.
• Serve as a bridge between customer technology teams and internal engineering teams to expedite delivery and eliminate technical obstacles.
• Provide training and enablement support for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in expanding strategic telecommunications partnerships and increasing customer value in global markets.
• Over 10 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, consulting, or technical solutioning within the telecommunications sector.
• Proven expertise in supporting carrier-grade environments.
• Extensive knowledge of telecommunications technology, including messaging, voice communications, signaling, network infrastructure, and related protocols.
• Experience collaborating with telecommunications carriers, large enterprises, or technology organizations to define and implement complex solutions.
• Ability to translate customer business challenges into commercially viable, scalable, and implementable technical solutions.
• Experience interfacing with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
• In-depth understanding of telecommunications protocols, messaging ecosystems, voice communications technologies, signaling frameworks, and carrier network architecture.
• Experience designing API-driven solutions and integrating enterprise systems with REST APIs, JSON, and modern application interfaces.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of microservices-based architectures, distributed systems, containerized applications, and modern integration patterns.
• Capability to architect solutions across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Preferred: experience supporting major telecommunications providers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Bandwidth, or similar organizations.
• Preferred: experience in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and technical solution proposals.
• Preferred: knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Preferred: familiarity with GSMA, ATIS, 3GPP, IETF, STIR/SHAKEN, and SIP.
• Preferred: experience in creating technical white papers, solution design documentation, customer-facing technical presentations, and reusable architecture artifacts.
