This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with team leadership and business stakeholders to grasp objectives, workflows, user needs, constraints, and success metrics
• Assess whether an agentic solution, deterministic workflow, existing capability, or a non-AI option is suitable
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications, define scope boundaries, create delivery roadmaps, explore architectural alternatives, establish measurable results, and formulate implementation strategies
• Articulate technical implications and convey trade-offs related to scope, cost, quality, latency, security, risk, and delivery speed
• Take ownership of solution architecture for a range of use cases and agentic applications provided by various squads
• Outline comprehensive workflows, identify trigger events, human approvals, system interactions, failure pathways, and operational transfers
• Specify agent package structures, task graphs, orchestration models, and delineate responsibilities among agents, deterministic code, tools, and platform services
• Recognize necessary systems, data sources, outputs, APIs, integrations, tools, and MCP capabilities
• Oversee dependencies within the solution portfolio
• Create architecture diagrams, decision documents, implementation instructions, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements
• Manage cross-squad dependencies, address technical debt, eliminate duplicate capabilities, and promote reusable patterns, templates, connectors, and reference implementations
• Work alongside delivery teams to transform architecture into work packages, estimates, quality benchmarks, and delivery strategies
• Engage directly with teams to deeply understand solutions
• Implement architecture standards, approval protocols, guardrails, and governance mandates
• Sustain solution architecture concerning technical direction, engineering benchmarks, capacity, and risk management
• Assist in developer onboarding and architecture training across squads
• Coordinate decisions and dependencies among product, engineering, security, data, integrations, and business teams
• Report on architecture status, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to technical and executive levels
• Directly supervise engineers across multiple small, dedicated product squads
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based foundational models or agent platforms, such as Amazon Bedrock or AgentCore, or similar technologies
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST or GraphQL APIs, event-driven architectures, serverless or containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code
• Extensive experience in software architecture, solutions architecture, technical leadership, or a related role focused on designing and delivering enterprise systems
• Proven track record in architecting and deploying production AI, generative AI, agentic, conversational, or intelligent-automation solutions
• Solid understanding of agentic patterns, including orchestration, tool utilization, RAG, model selection, prompt and policy management, human-in-the-loop approvals, state and memory management, evaluation, and fallback behaviors
• Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs, events, connectors, workflow engines, or MCP-style tool frameworks
• Strong knowledge of identity, authorization, data access, privacy, auditability, and secure-by-default design principles
• Proven ability to influence multiple teams or squads without relying solely on formal authority
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to elucidate complex architecture and trade-offs to business stakeholders and executives
• Experience in creating architecture diagrams, ADRs, technical specifications, non-functional requirements, and implementation guidance
• Preferred: experience with enterprise SaaS and business systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or comparable platforms
• Preferred: experience in establishing reusable architecture standards, reference architectures, developer patterns, or platform governance
• Preferred: leading architecture reviews that involve security, compliance, privacy, or production risks
• Preferred: relevant certifications in cloud, security, AI, or architecture
• Preferred: experience in coordinating and managing the work of engineers within a timeline
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
• Flexible work hours and remote work options
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning
• Collaborative and inclusive work environment
