This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of solutions utilizing AB Suite and relevant enterprise technologies.
• Establish comprehensive application architecture that aligns with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to collect and refine requirements.
• Create both high-level and low-level solution designs, technical specifications, and architectural documentation.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems and initiatives for cloud adoption.
• Perform solution reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Assist in project estimation, planning, and risk assessment processes.
• Shape technology decisions and play a role in enterprise architecture governance.
• Resolve complex technical issues and lead critical incident resolutions.
• Ensure that solutions fulfill performance, scalability, resilience, and compliance criteria.
• Extensive experience with AB Suite, ideally 10–15 years in architecture, design, or senior development positions.
• Demonstrated success in architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
• Comprehensive delivery experience from roadmap and requirements through to development, implementation, and operations.
• Deep understanding of application architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Background in solution governance, architecture reviews, and technical assurance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient in creating and presenting architecture roadmaps and solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in UK IT Financial Services is preferred.
• Experience with Unisys ClearPath MCP environment is advantageous.
• TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent architecture certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in highly regulated or mission-critical environments is preferred.
