Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Effectively showcase Snowflake's technology and vision to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential and existing clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to illustrate and convey the benefits of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, including demonstrations, proofs of concept, and implementation design.

• Stay deeply engaged with the rapidly changing industry landscape, ensuring a thorough understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and how to strategically position Snowflake in this context.

• Work in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-8 years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences, whether in spontaneous whiteboard sessions or structured presentations and demos.

• Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions, including Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to relate a customer’s specific business challenges to Snowflake’s solutions.

• Ability to conduct in-depth assessments of customer architecture frameworks and align them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred. A Master's degree in Data Science or Business Administration is advantageous.

• Experience with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
