Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Align cutting-edge solutions to technology challenges within intricate Consumer Business Services accounts

• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to achieve consensus on multi-product technology solutions across Salesforce product offerings

• Concentrate primarily on the Analytics portfolio

• Manage business development, operational strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted advisor

• Identify ambiguous business issues through research and assessment, foster innovative ideas, and suggest actionable next steps

• Assess solutions, influence client decision-making, and build stakeholder consensus

• Create decision frameworks that provide ongoing value

• Showcase connected, data-driven experiences through software demonstrations and rapid prototyping using Salesforce and Tableau

• Develop tailored solutions and demonstrations for diverse personas

• Counsel on customer data and analytics architecture for Salesforce and Tableau solutions

• Engage in product, sales, and procedural training and certifications

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience

• Practical experience with Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Tableau Next

• Understanding of data visualization, dashboarding, and self-service analytics best practices

• Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technologies

• Strong oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to resolve technical issues in diverse organizational and political contexts

• Strategic problem solver who is comfortable engaging technical, business, and executive audiences

• Willingness and capability to travel occasionally for customer interactions and team gatherings

• Prior experience in solution/sales engineering/consulting preferred

• Familiarity with AI tools preferred

• Salesforce or Tableau certifications preferred

• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals preferred

• Experience with SQL and data modeling preferred

• Basic programming/scripting skills in Python, HTML, JavaScript, or similar languages preferred

• Experience with design thinking, persona-based discovery, or workshop facilitation preferred
