Technical Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert pre-sales technical assistance for intricate hardware and software implementations across various customer environments.

• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Evaluate customer infrastructure and align Miovision solutions with the challenges faced by agencies.

• Provide on-site technical training and manage change initiatives for customer engineers and solution architects.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to achieve both individual and team sales incentive goals.

• Examine daily customer operations to identify new value opportunities and expedite software growth.

• Develop quick prototypes, automate technical processes, and generate internal technical reports.

• Convert operational and agency requirements into technical task breakdowns and product specifications.

• Design and execute rapid prototypes or tailor custom workflow configurations.

• Manage Proof of Value documentation to demonstrate technical viability, confirm ROI, and secure technical achievements.

• Structure undefined technical challenges, analyze system data, and utilize mathematical modeling to assess performance trends.

• Transform successful custom solutions into engineering specifications and scalable product features.

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure technical alignment and foster growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, software engineering, or technical pre-sales is essential.

• Extensive knowledge of networking products, hardware/software integration, and rapid prototyping methodologies.

• Proficient, hands-on experience with Python for software prototyping, deep debugging, and automation tasks.

• Strong understanding of mathematical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and practical AI tools.

• Capability to analyze complex data sets, structure undefined technical issues, test hypotheses, and execute practical solutions.

• Ability to independently acquire new programming languages, platforms, and AI tools.

• Excellent skills in process mapping, workflow redesign, and formulating clear ROI business cases.

• Outstanding ability to convey highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) is required, and an advanced technical degree is a plus.

• Experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), transportation infrastructure, fleet/telematics, or connected vehicle technology is advantageous.
