Solution Consultant – Presale

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical and functional presales process, which includes comprehensive discovery, solution architecture, scoping, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.

• Provide engaging, value-driven product demonstrations of digital trade finance solutions to C-suite executives and banking leaders.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Implementation, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment between client needs and product roadmap capabilities.

• Serve as a trade finance domain authority during client interactions, industry discussions, and solution webinars.

• Contribute strategic insights into go-to-market strategies and the ongoing enhancement of the presales toolkit.

• Work alongside the global sales organization to generate new business opportunities.

• Design customized solution architectures for enterprise clients.

• Assist the customer journey from initial discovery and proof-of-concept to project handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in the Trade Finance domain.

• Demonstrated success in presales, solution architecture, or consulting within enterprise fintech or transaction banking environments.

• Extensive knowledge of both traditional and open-account trade instruments, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees/Standbys, Supply Chain Finance, and Factoring.

• Proven ability to engage with global banks, financial institutions, and large corporate treasuries.

• Experience managing intricate RFP processes and delivering interactive demonstrations of enterprise software.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.

• Practical experience with modern SaaS/cloud-native architectures and API integrations in enterprise banking settings (preferred).

• Familiarity with cross-border transactions across APAC and international markets (preferred).

• Proficiency in additional languages to support global account engagements (preferred).

• Capability to thrive in a global and multicultural environment.
