Solution Architect, Teamcenter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers concerning PLM and project-related inquiries.

• Document and evaluate business processes.

• Create and present solution concepts along with implementation alternatives.

• Assess project efforts and prepare technical quotations.

• Outline and organize the implementation of configurations and customizations within Teamcenter.

• Provide guidance to customers on solutions, methodologies, strategies, and processes.

• Utilize agile or traditional project methodologies for conceptualization and specification.

• Take charge of design, implementation, migration, testing, and rollout tasks.

• Assist in configuration and customization efforts.

• Execute customer-specific solutions based on Teamcenter.

• Participate in projects or take on partial or complete project management duties.

• Oversee interdisciplinary and international teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or vocational training in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of PLM/PDM systems.

• Extensive expertise and practical experience with PLM/PDM processes, concepts, and methodologies.

• Several years of project experience, preferably with agile methodologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Teamcenter (Tc) Structure Management, Tc Change Management, Tc Dispatcher, and/or Tc Scheduler, along with other modules.

• Familiarity with Organization and Access Management.

• Understanding of Teamcenter configuration and server-side customization using BMIDE, including data models, workflows, and ITK/SOA Services.

• Knowledge of client-side customization for Active Workspace (AW) and Rich Application Client (RAC), both codeless and code-based.

• Awareness of Teamcenter integrations with CAD and ERP systems.

• Thorough understanding of Teamcenter's internal functionality and processes.

• Project experience and/or substantial experience in partial or overall project management.

• Intercultural competence.

• Ability to effectively contribute to an interdisciplinary and international team.

• Proficient in German.

• Good written and spoken English skills.

• Willingness to provide a CV detailing previous responsibilities, duties held, and employment references.
