Solution Architect, Strategic Portfolio – Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the architectural authority for customer engagement teams and manage strategic platform portfolios across various ServiceNow workflow domains.

• Align customer technology environments with long-term platform strategies.

• Establish enterprise governance frameworks and architecture standards.

• Define and oversee enterprise-grade ServiceNow architectures utilizing TOGAF or equivalent frameworks along with ServiceNow technical standards.

• Foster strategic relationships with product owners, platform stakeholders, and customer architecture teams.

• Influence the ServiceNow product roadmaps and advocate for multi-domain workflow capabilities.

• Shape the enterprise architecture vision in collaboration with senior leadership and CXO stakeholders.

• Align multi-year ServiceNow portfolio roadmaps with the business strategy.

• Provide guidance on organizational change management and platform scalability.

• Conduct executive briefings, formal presentations, and strategic portfolio workshops.

• Develop enterprise architecture frameworks, portfolio governance standards, and reusable reference architectures.

• Mentor ServiceNow delivery teams and partners while nurturing a community of practice.

• Lead executive architecture workshops, define multi-product roadmaps, and assess implementation complexities during pre-sales cycles.

• Collaborate with Services Account Executives, Solution Sales Executives/Consultants, and Partner Sales Organizations on intricate enterprise opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, strategic IT portfolio management, or senior technical advisory roles within a consulting organization; or equivalent education and experience.

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.

• Experience in strategic portfolio governance across complex, multi-domain technology portfolios.

• Proven experience in shaping enterprise strategy at the C-suite level.

• Capability to produce platform portfolio roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.

• Experience leading strategic architecture reviews and portfolio governance sessions.

• Familiarity with evaluating AI integration, AI-powered workflow orchestration, agentic automation, and AI governance.

• Ability to synthesize enterprise requirements, portfolio constraints, and architectural standards into scalable platform strategies.

• Exceptional communication skills to convey architecture concepts through visual modeling, architecture blueprints, and structured frameworks.

• Ability to work independently on complex and ambiguous projects.

• A keen interest in emerging technologies.

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with both remote and in-person stakeholders.

• Certified System Administrator certification is required or must be obtained within the first 60 days.

• At least 2 relevant Certified Implementation Specialist certifications are required or must be obtained within the first 90 days.

• Certified Technical Architect certification is required or must be obtained within the first 365 days.
