Solution Architect / Field Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical liaison between Tenstorrent and clients across India

• Collaborate closely with customers, partners, sales, and global engineering teams

• Have a solid understanding of AI and machine learning workloads

• Provide guidance on technical solution designs

• Work with internal teams on tokenomics

• Facilitate customer discussions, evaluations, and deployments

• Troubleshoot issues related to both hardware and software

• Assist customers in maximizing the performance of Tenstorrent’s AI platforms

• Engage in hands-on technical problem solving, solution development, and relationship building throughout the Indian market

• Travel regularly to customer locations across India and beyond

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions for various customer use cases, including Generative AI and LLM applications

• Lead the complete customer engagement lifecycle, from pre-sales technical discovery and demonstrations to proof-of-concept delivery and production deployment

• Collaborate with product development, engineering, research, sales, and business development teams

• Influence the advancement of AI software and hardware solutions

• Assist in establishing regional service capabilities and support Tenstorrent’s expansion in India and beyond

• Customer-oriented technical professional capable of building trust with application developers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders

• Ability to simplify complex AI/ML hardware and software concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving

• Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, installations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery

• Involvement in marketing events and trade shows

• Over 10 years of relevant experience

• Background as a Solutions Architect, Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or a similar customer-facing technical role focusing on AI/ML software and hardware

• Proficient in Python programming

• Strong familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vision models, model deployment, training, or fine-tuning is preferred

• Proven experience in designing scalable AI solutions and deploying applications in cloud environments

• Experience in guiding the physical installation of hardware servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with C++, CUDA, parallel programming, or kernel development is advantageous

• Proficiency in the English language is required

• Proficiency in Hindi or another Indian language is a plus

• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology, which includes compliance with applicable U.S. export laws and potential citizenship/permanent residency or license approval requirements
