Application Engineer – Cutting Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the North American Sales Team, local and global Product Marketing Organizations, as well as Seco Tools product and service teams.

• Assist field sales and customers by providing training, technical expertise, component processing, process documentation, troubleshooting, and enhancing productivity.

• Serve as a technical authority on Seco Tools products and advocate for applications within the Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and General Engineering sectors.

• Conduct training sessions, present cost-saving strategies, and develop customer-specific solutions.

• Identify sales opportunities and create presentations that highlight the value of Seco Tools.

• Lead projects by coordinating efforts with Sales, Engineering, and R&D teams.

• Utilize CRM tools to monitor and enhance customer-focused initiatives.

• Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product development.

• Engage in research and development projects aimed at creating innovative tools and solutions.

• Formulate plans for new product launches, encompassing training and target account strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in the metal machining industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in sales or applications.

• Proficient in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Experience with Aerospace, Medical, and Automotive components is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams, building partnerships, and achieving common objectives is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time.
