This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Transform requirements into comprehensive Enterprise Security solution designs, encompassing system interactions, data flows, and integration points.
• Create and sustain architectural artifacts such as diagrams, data flows, interface definitions, and technology selections.
• Assess whether initiatives satisfy ARB entry criteria and prepare necessary review materials.
• Conduct architecture impact evaluations across IT, OT, data, and security domains.
• Define and validate design alternatives, including considerations for build-versus-buy, pattern selection, and integration strategies.
• Record trade-offs to support architectural decisions.
• Review designs to ensure alignment with approved patterns and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to clarify design objectives, resolve design challenges, and ensure accurate implementation.
• Identify and manage inter-team dependencies, sequencing, and integration points.
• Incorporate security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements into designs, including GxP, identity management, data protection, and connectivity.
• Facilitate release readiness by confirming architecture dependencies, risks, and constraints prior to deployment.
• Document and monitor architecture risks, exceptions, and technical debt, including plans for mitigation or remediation.
• Take ownership of architecture input and design quality within the Enterprise Security domain.
• Assist in solution architecture and ARB decision-making processes.
• Interface with the Solution Architecture Lead, Enterprise Architecture, and delivery teams while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide support to FUJIFILM Biotechnologies sites globally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 8 years of experience in architecture or engineering specific to enterprise security.
• Proficient in translating requirements into solution designs and architectural artifacts.
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams and domains, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data.
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as applicable.
• Preferred knowledge of NIS2/GDPR security frameworks.
• Experience in regulated environments such as GxP and ISO 27001 is preferred.
• Preferred cybersecurity certifications: SABSA and CISSP.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security technologies and architecture.
• Ability to design and document comprehensive solutions and integrations.
• Understanding of cross-domain dependencies across IT, OT, security, and data.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate trade-offs and risks.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination in global, cross-functional settings.
• Ability to coordinate across time zones and engage occasionally outside of regular hours.
