Solution Architect, ECAD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, converting engineering and business needs into effective integration strategies.

• Create tailored, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems.

• Develop system architectures that align with current IT landscapes and architectural standards.

• Specify interfaces and coordinate technical implementation teams.

• Ensure compliance with architectural principles, quality standards, and industry best practices.

• Manage solutions throughout their lifecycle, from requirements analysis to implementation and commissioning.

• Assume technical project responsibilities and assist in architecture evaluations.

• Document and continuously enhance solutions.

• Act as the primary contact for integrating solutions into existing systems.

• Provide support for qualification, testing, deployment, and implementation teams, both remotely and on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant qualification from a university or technical institution.

• Multiple years of experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile.

• Extensive experience with ECAD systems like Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Aucotec Engineering Base, EPLAN Electric P8, or others.

• Several years of experience in both traditional and agile project management methodologies.

• A structured, independent, and solution-focused work style, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with .NET, C++, Java, C#, COM/COM+, XML, and ideally Ruby along with related frameworks is advantageous.

• Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
