Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive architectural design for Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, encompassing Retail Execution, Offline Mobile App, Trade Promotion Management, and DSD/Van Sales.

• Establish system topologies, data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks in accordance with Salesforce architectural best practices.

• Design offline mobile synchronization strategies, enhancing device payload sizes, historical data ingestion, and synchronization performance.

• Convert FMCG commercial objectives and business challenges into scalable technical solutions.

• Collaborate with Business Consultants and stakeholders to shape solution design.

• Perform architecture reviews and assess custom code, point-and-click configurations, and out-of-the-box functionalities.

• Manage platform technical debt, supervise code reviews, and guarantee project quality.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to Salesforce Developers, System Integrators, and Technical Consultants.

• Create integrations between Salesforce CG Cloud and ERP, warehouse management, and supply chain systems utilizing middleware or REST/SOAP APIs.

• Design data pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of practical experience as a Salesforce Architect (Solution, Functional, or Enterprise Architect).

• Demonstrated success in leading a minimum of 2+ full-lifecycle enterprise implementations of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or legacy CloudSense/AFS Retail Execution platforms.

• Extensive functional domain expertise in FMCG / CPG industry processes.

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CG Cloud Offline Mobile App architecture and synchronization engines.

• Proven expertise in Salesforce platform security, handling Large Data Volumes (LDV), Apex performance optimization, and Governor Limits.

• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical decisions to C-level executives and business/non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.

• Must reside in Germany, Greece, or Portugal.
