This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Comprehend client requirements and convert them into scalable, practical architecture.

• Design systems and choose technology stacks for new developments.

• Write and review production code while creating prototypes when necessary.

• Evaluate existing systems and APIs for potential reuse, replacement, or integration.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.

• Document architecture for implementation teams.

• Ensure consistent and viable technical direction as projects progress.

• Guide implementation teams and address complex technical decisions.

• Lead client workshops and technical discovery sessions.

• Manage solution design from the initial discussion through to production.

• Over 7 years of experience in software delivery, with a minimum of 3 years as a Solution Architect or in a senior backend/technical lead role.

• At least 5 years of experience writing production code in Python, Node.js, Java, or Kotlin.

• Practical experience with AWS or Azure.

• Proficiency in API design, event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ), and microservices/integration patterns.

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Capability to read API documentation and assess integration possibilities.

• Experience in developing custom software rather than merely configuring SaaS tools.

• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.

• Proven experience conducting workshops and architecture reviews with external clients.

• Familiarity with US/UK clients.

• Business-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written (C1+).

• Willingness to work during hours that overlap with CET.

• Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical individuals.

• Analytical, pragmatic, ownership-driven, client-focused, and adaptable.

• Polish business entity capable of invoicing B2B or a willingness to establish one prior to starting.
