Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Translate business objectives, market demands, and customer workflows into solution alternatives with clearly defined trade-offs.

• Take ownership of end-to-end solution design for major initiatives.

• Challenge and refine requirements, distinguishing genuine problems from requested features.

• Present architectural options and recommendations to commercial leadership, customer executives, and clinical staff.

• Develop solution overviews, capability maps, integration blueprints, and assessments of effort and impact.

• Collaborate with Delivery on sequencing and phasing.

• Gain a thorough understanding of audiology clinical and operational workflows.

• Facilitate customer and partner workshops covering discovery, requirements, integration approaches, and feasibility.

• Engage in pre-sales activities through technical scoping, solution proposals, RFPs, and tender responses, shaping and estimating solutions.

• Provide advice to key accounts during escalations and complex distributed system or integration troubleshooting.

• Contribute customer and market insights to platform strategy and product roadmap.

• Ensure architectural integrity and consistent domain boundaries for assigned domains.

• Shape domain models and identify bounded contexts, aggregates, and integration points.

• Define APIs and event contracts across microservices and cross-domain workflows.

• Assess initiatives for architectural viability and service ownership.

• Assist teams with high-level design, technology selection, and architectural patterns.

• Participate in architecture reviews and platform governance.

• Mentor teams on Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and engineering best practices.

• Maintain architecture diagrams, specifications, interface documentation, and architecture decision records (ADRs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in architecture or solution-architecture roles in enterprise SaaS.

• Demonstrated ability to convert ambiguous business needs into actionable solution designs.

• Experience collaborating with Product, Sales, or Customer Success as the technical owner of a solution.

• Proficient in designing integration architectures utilizing message buses, event-streaming platforms, REST APIs, and webhooks.

• Familiarity with comparable enterprise system landscapes.

• Practical understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.

• Comprehensive understanding of security and compliance concerning regulated data, including GDPR.

• Solid background in Azure cloud services.

• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and diagrams, such as C4.

• Excellent communication skills with leadership, engineers, and customers.

• Confidence in customer-facing and commercial environments, including pre-sales.

• Fluent proficiency in English.

• Experience designing or evolving multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Experience integrating with healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, HL7, and FHIR.

• Exposure to healthcare, clinical, or other regulated business domains.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based architectures.

• Azure Cloud certifications.

• Familiarity with .NET and React.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered a plus.
