Solution Advisor – FinOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Flexera’s FinOps offerings, which include Cloud Cost Optimization, Autonomous Workload Optimization, and Data Cloud Optimization.

• Assist current customers in maximizing product utilization through a consultative approach.

• Develop, document, and consistently update customer best practices.

• Create training and enablement materials while collaborating with the Flexera Enablement team for publication.

• Collaborate with sales representatives, solution engineers, success managers, solution value advisors, and other team members throughout the customer journey.

• Provide insights from the field to product management and engineering teams during the product development cycle.

• Conduct regular sessions and workshops with designated customers to advise and coach them towards achieving their desired outcomes.

• Share knowledge to assist customers in developing cloud and FinOps skills.

• Collect and consolidate customer feedback into actionable product insights and advocate for features internally.

• Lead business reviews that present cost savings, automation results, and strategic recommendations.

• Travel up to 20% to connect with customers, attend events, support customer success initiatives, and aid in renewals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in FinOps consulting.

• Background in working with customers who have significant cloud expenditures to comprehend internal processes and organizational initiatives.

• Proven experience in creating customized paths to customer success.

• Experience in conducting regular sessions and workshops with assigned customers.

• Background in advising and coaching customers to achieve their desired outcomes.

• Experience in helping customers develop cloud and FinOps skills and knowledge.

• Familiarity with packaged FinOps products, custom-built solutions, or cloud-native tools from the leading three cloud providers.

• Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to customer success.

• Ability to gather and synthesize customer feedback into actionable product insights.

• Capacity to advocate for product features internally.

• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.

• Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.

• FinOps Certified FOCUS Analyst certification is a plus.
