Solar CAD Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical drafting support to a designated group of engineers.

• Develop construction drawings and designs.

• Execute tasks within the Solar department for designing and drafting projects.

• Perform technical drafting as the main responsibility of the role.

• Conduct design-related activities under the guidance and supervision of more experienced engineers.

• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting, actively pursuing a four-year engineering degree, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

• Familiarity with PVFARM, PVCase, or other utility-scale PV software is advantageous.

• Experience with 3D modeling and related software is a plus.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of PV electrical and mechanical design would be beneficial.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

• Eagerness to learn about PV designs.

• Must possess permanent authorization to work in the US.
