Software Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of customer-facing training as the main point of contact for all training engagements.

• Proactively learn the product and customer configurations to create and deliver curriculum for both internal teams and external clients.

• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the product.

• Design and maintain exercises, job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation.

• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and subject matter experts to ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date.

• Provide customer-specific training both virtually and on-site.

• Oversee training schedules and deployment across various customer accounts.

• Collect feedback and performance metrics to assess and enhance content and delivery methods.

• Advise customers and internal teams on the training scope and approach for unique or complex projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in delivering technology-based training to adult learners and in curriculum development.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Capability to collaborate with subject matter experts.

• Proficient in technical writing with experience in creating job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation for technical or software audiences.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.

• Skill in articulating complex software functionalities clearly and engaging individuals at all organizational levels.

• Self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong commitment to continuous learning and enhancing processes and customer experiences.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple training engagements at once.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.

• Certification in training or learning and development is preferred.
