Software Tester – QA Analyst, Smart Grid Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold test cases for both new and existing features of the Smart Grid platform.

• Execute and thoroughly document feature, regression, and release testing processes.

• Evaluate requirements for testability, completeness, and potential risks.

• Detect absent information, test data needs, and potential risks early in the process.

• Clearly and systematically outline defects, assisting in their tracking until resolution.

• Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management, Support, and Project teams regarding functional inquiries, testing scope, and release risks.

• Continuously enhance QA processes and maintain high-quality standards.

• Ensure the availability of appropriate test and product documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably within SaaS, B2B platforms, web applications, or complex technical software.

• A completed degree, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in a technical or IT-related discipline.

• Strong understanding of test design, execution, and software quality evaluation.

• A structured, meticulous, and well-documented approach to work.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• A keen interest in energy networks, Smart Grids, and the functional context of the platform.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Must reside in, or possess the right to work in, Germany or Austria.

• Initial experience with API testing or test automation is advantageous, though not mandatory.
