Software Tester, QA Analyst – Smart Grid Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold test cases for both new and existing functionalities of the Smart Grid platform.

• Conduct and accurately document feature, regression, and release testing.

• Evaluate requirements for their testability, completeness, and associated risks.

• Recognize missing details, test data needs, and potential risks at an early stage.

• Clearly and systematically describe defects, facilitating their tracking until resolution.

• Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management, Support, and Project teams regarding functional inquiries, test scope, and release risks.

• Enhance QA processes and uphold quality standards.

• Ensure all test and product documentation is appropriately maintained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably in SaaS, B2B platforms, web applications, or complex specialized software.

• Completed degree, vocational training, or an equivalent qualification in a technical or IT-related field.

• Strong grasp of test design, execution, and software quality evaluation.

• A structured, meticulous, and traceable work approach, especially in documenting test results and defects.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Interest in energy networks, Smart Grids, and the functional context of the platform.

• Proficient in both German and English, with the capability to clearly communicate technical and functional information.

• Residency in, or the right to work in, Germany or Austria.

• Initial experience in API testing or test automation is advantageous, though not mandatory.
