Software Tester, QA Analyst – Smart Grid Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold test cases for both new and existing functionalities of the Smart Grid platform.

• Implement and document feature, regression, and release testing in a clear manner.

• Evaluate requirements for their testability, completeness, and associated risks.

• Recognize gaps in information, identify test data needs, and assess potential risks early in the process.

• Clearly and systematically articulate defects and assist in tracking them to resolution.

• Work collaboratively with Development, Product Management, Support, and Project teams regarding functional inquiries, test scope, and release risks.

• Continuously enhance QA processes and uphold quality standards.

• Ensure that test and product documentation is maintained appropriately.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably with SaaS products, B2B platforms, web applications, or complex specialized software.

• A completed university degree, vocational training, or an equivalent qualification in a technical or IT-related discipline.

• Strong grasp of test design, test execution, and software quality evaluation.

• A structured, meticulous, and traceable work approach.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Interest in energy networks, Smart Grids, and the functional context of the platform.

• Initial experience with API testing or test automation is beneficial, though not mandatory.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Ability to communicate technical and functional information clearly and understandably.

• Residence in, or valid work authorization for, Germany or Austria.
