Software Test Engineer – QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end UI test automation for the Occibo web application.

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for essential user workflows.

• Convert product specifications into automated tests, including consideration for edge cases.

• Partner with the development team to establish test data strategies and ensure stable selectors.

• Implement API-level tests to enhance UI testing and boost overall reliability.

• Execute tests in CI pipelines, monitor failures, and contribute to maintaining a stable and manageable test suite.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate the creation, analysis, and upkeep of tests.

• Record testing procedures, outcomes, and quality improvement suggestions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in software testing or QA automation.

• Proficient with at least one test automation framework — Playwright or Cypress is preferred.

• Familiar with JavaScript or TypeScript and version control using Git.

• Knowledgeable about CI pipelines and effective test design practices.

• Experience utilizing AI tools within a testing or development setting.

• Proficient in English.

• Willingness to work within EU time zones or with significant overlap during European business hours.

• Eager to thrive in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment where initiative is rewarded.

• Previous experience in SaaS UI automation is a plus.

• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or REST clients is advantageous.

• Based in Indonesia or able to work in the Indonesia time zone is preferred.
