This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the target state architecture for automation.
• Create and document design decisions that bring the target architecture to life.
• Lead architecture reviews throughout the portfolio.
• Drive process analysis to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.
• Ensure that automation solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business strategy.
• Provide mentorship to architects and engineers.
• Facilitate cross-functional design sessions.
• Effectively communicate architectural direction to both technical and executive audiences.
• Define and uphold the target-state automation architecture, along with standards, patterns, and technology roadmaps.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of secure automation solutions within Federal Financial environments, including air-gapped infrastructure and AWS GovCloud.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code strategies utilizing Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, and other relevant automation technologies.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Document key decisions, trade-offs, dependencies, and implementation standards.
• Analyze infrastructure and operational processes to create a roadmap for automation opportunities.
• Design automation for server provisioning, configuration, patch management, lifecycle management, and decommissioning across RHEL and Windows Server environments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary Public Trust level clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree with 16 years of experience, or a High School diploma or equivalent with 20 years of experience.
• Over 15 years of experience in building and automating secure infrastructure within Federal Financial programs.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline engineering with Jenkins.
• Continuous monitoring experience with Splunk for RHEL and Windows Server systems in both air-gapped and AWS GovCloud environments.
• Proficient with Ansible/Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Familiarity with automating decommissioning/provisioning workflows.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment credit check as required by the customer.
• Preferred: Experience with Service Now and ARIA.
• Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
• This is a remote position.
