This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set software quality benchmarks, test architecture standards, and defect prevention methodologies across delivery streams.
• Design, construct, and uphold scalable end-to-end automated UI and API test suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript across various product domains.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and regulatory teams early in the development process to evaluate requirements and analyze risks.
• Identify, document, and monitor defects throughout the entire process.
• Lead root cause analysis and partner with developers to implement solutions.
• Establish overarching test strategies and create detailed test plans.
• Oversee the complete system verification lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development or integration teams to validate unit tests and/or assist in pair programming techniques to verify code flows.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in testing, offering insights and best-practice recommendations.
• Act as the team's representative in a complex environment involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing and maintaining testing frameworks for full-stack applications.
• Skilled in testing intricate systems that interact with various external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional agile teams.
• Proficient in estimating complex tasks.
• Ability to directly communicate technical updates to client stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex, distributed multi-vendor application failures and microservices.
• Previous experience on federal government digital service projects or civic tech initiatives.
• Familiarity in implementing synthetic test data generators or sophisticated mock data services for enterprise integrations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Capability to fulfill any other criteria for government contracts applicable to hired candidates.
• Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• May require a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.
• Must reside in the continental U.S.
