QA Automation Engineer, Playwright, Typescript, FinTech Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations.

• Create and implement unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.

• Establish and sustain automated tests for intricate workflows, edge cases, data integrity, and state transitions across services.

• Incorporate and oversee automated testing within CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Execute performance, scalability, and load testing across essential services and infrastructure.

• Identify, document, and monitor bugs, performance challenges, and system vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to enhance QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA Automation, including the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript for creating automation scripts and test frameworks.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Solid understanding of testing best practices, test strategy, software development lifecycles, and contemporary QA methodologies.

• Direct experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with containerized environments such as Docker.

• Previous experience in fintech, financial services, payments, banking, or other financial technology sectors is highly desirable.

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams during EST hours.
