This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Lead the strategy, design, and evolution of automation platforms for clients.
• Define reference architectures, development standards, and best practices for automation.
• Design and evolve automation architectures for hybrid and Cloud environments.
• Establish blueprints, reference patterns, and reusable models for services, platforms, and clients.
• Design solutions based on Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/AWX), GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
• Set corporate standards for CI/CD and automation.
• Design branching strategies, versioning, promotion pipelines, and release management.
• Implement change control mechanisms, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure the security of the software supply chain.
• Define and maintain reusable catalogs of Terraform modules.
• Standardize roles, collections, and automation frameworks based on Ansible.
• Establish documentation, testing, and versioning practices.
• Serve as a technical reference for DevOps, Automation, and Infrastructure teams.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Lead initiatives for the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and standards.
• Participate in the resolution of critical incidents related to automation platforms.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, and reduction of technical debt.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, security, and operations teams.
• Proven experience in automation, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and/or infrastructure architecture.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation architectures in hybrid and Cloud enterprise environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, defining technical standards, and guiding teams in adopting best automation practices.
• Advanced Python for automation, tool development, and integration creation.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/AWX), including roles, collections, dynamic inventories, RBAC, Workflow Templates, and Job Templates.
• Knowledge of Terraform, including designing reusable modules, Workspaces, State management, policies, and governance.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub, including Git repositories, multi-stage YAML pipelines, environments, approvals & checks, artifacts, and deployments.
• Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with Git, GitFlow, and versioning strategies.
• Design and consumption of REST APIs.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to generate technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture documentation.
• Professional English level B2 high / C1.
